During one of several Scotland Trips, we rented a small self-drive RV Camper. In off-peak May, you could pull up to any deserted Campground, and park
way over on a secluded spot with the Dinette Window facing the Sea. Shop and eat local. I bought 2 massive Crabs right off the Boat Dock-side. A memorable Dinner! Hike around. Pick up stuff while Beachcombing. As we did up in Orkney from a Bay at Low Tide.
These Scallop Shells from the Bay almost appear glazed on the interior side. Throw 'em in the Dishwasher, and use them for serving Appetizers. One of our prized possessions!
