Day 6
On day 6 here and now past the acute withdrawal issues. I was having some anxiety, blood pressure was a little elevated (likely due to the anxiety), edginess and general uneasiness.
However, mornings are calming down a lot and generally my mind feels quiet; strange that cutting alcohol, a depressant, can quiet the mind, but for me once past the acute stage it starts to happen.
Staying vigilant and crafting a detailed plan based on what I've seen here as I know the cravings will start to creep in at some point, but just wanted to share where things are.
