Childhood abuse hurts an is definitely unacceptable. PERIOD.
There are many cases of abuse out there in
the world and here in SR. Childhood, sexual,
physical, mental, emotional, phycological,
verbal and many more.
I am just one of many who was abused
by a sick mom dealing with her own demons.
I didn't ask for her to physically verbally
emotionally abuse me. I didn't want it and
yet I was.
Yrs later I used and abused alcohol to
numb memories and resentments I harbored
towards her until my own little family placed
me into the hands of those capable of helping
me.
There is help available to all those who have
been hurt, abused at the hands of sick people.
It's time to stop the hurting you have been
experiencing thru out your life. It's over and
now it's time to start the healing process. To
walk thru the doors and arms of those who
will help you let go of the pain and resentments
that keep you and many of us sick in our
addictions.
You dont have to leave SR. This is just
one of many lifelines available for us to
hang on to. We here in SR understand,
care and offer you/me/us support, love
and compassion.
Keep us but add another support system
near you. Do this for yourself because you
are worth it. You deserve happiness and
freedom from the pain of the past and your
addiction.
