These are the words uttered by an Australian sporting legend, Ben Cousins, a hero to thousands of kids, a brownlow medalist, AFL captain, star premiership player as he was led to jail, again. His life is over now. He is a meth addict who would not help himself.
“I am the victim in this,” Cousins said.
“To be the subject of ridicule and embarrassment, and I know I’ve brought a lot of that on myself, but I don’t act out in violence.
“I beg you, I beg you, I’m not a threat. Every day I close my eyes when the sun goes down and I spew that it’s another day I’m not going to be with my children......"
He is a deluded addict to the nth degree now....
this is why we are here....we never ever want that.
