Friday afternoon I am in!
I took 12 hour emergency call at the hospital this coming Sunday from seven in the morning until seven at night.
Tonight boyfriend is going downtown Chicago for someone’s retirement party I did not want to go seeing everyone drink.
Maybe I’ll do some mosquito abatement tonight .
Tomorrow night it is a shrimp boil in a town called Barrington .
Went to a bar and Grill last night where hamburgers and a side as five dollars. There was a lady next to me that was so wasted, I felt so sorry for her.
It was really interesting to see everyone drinking around me, and for the first time in a really long time, seeing the crowd through the bartender’s eyes.
All of these people are like bees going into a pitcher plant — they think they can sip the nectar and get out without being harmed . They don’t notice while they sip the nectar (which is made from fossils or rotting food for us and melted bugs for them) that the world is closing all around them . Very few will escape. Glad I did and you all are with me.
