Great post, I have been dealing with that same problem but until I read your post , I never differentiated between the two voices, I thought they were one in the same, but I am starting to understand that my brain is now wired differently than a normal drinker because of all the past drinking , and that voice that craves alcohol is not me essentially and I have to learn to live with it , but ignore it .
