Welcome Tyne sided and Zombie (hope I didn’t miss anyone!). Yes, eating and sleep problems seem to be the norm. In my firtst few days I could barely cram anything down my throat. And sleeping was hard since I was used to PASSING OUT (ugh!). I am 2 weeks sober today and both of those things have improved. In fact my appetite has returned to normal. Sleep is tons better too. So it does get better.
I will say that walking seems to be saving my life. Instead of drinking at night, I go on three mile walks. In my case- I have to replace an unhealthy habit for a healthy one and it seems to be working.
