Personally I don't think it was 'too creepy'. My drawings are a little scary, but I think most children like spooky stuff...
When I was little, I remember discovering this beautifully illustrated book of Reynard The Fox... which is not for children at all
. I was so haunted by those drawings, I can still remember them - every single illustration.
