When I was in 10th grade I had this terrific World Cultures teacher named Mr. Nichols.
He was very personable and his class was quite interesting.
Every year when the yearbook photographer came in to take his picture, he would drop what he was doing, put on a face of mock rage, run over to one of the class clowns, and pretend to yank his hair backwards.
I don’t think he ever had a student who didn’t think he was terrific!
