BB...maybe the fridge fix is a simple one? Also...you can get replacements that aren't too much. Look for people selling off the old. Some people give them away to someone who can haul it for free when they upgrade appliances. Having a friend with a hauling vehicle is the key. I hope you find an affordable solution.
