Universal opinion is that it is not a good idea. But for me, it has worked out pretty well.
I force myself to think that it is the real thing since it tastes the same and provides bubbly hydration. But since I am not getting the same effect , my mind is now tricked into thinking that beer does nothing to me (very similar to sinclair method). So quickly losing interest in any kind of beer (alc/non alc) after about 2 weeks.
Just my experience - again, popular opinion is contrary.
