The longer I’m in recovery and AA the simpler it gets. Those who I see not intellectualise concepts of powerless etc are in the most contented sobriety. Find what works and work it. It doesn’t matter how the higher power concept works if it works which it absolutely does. Humility, gratitude, compassion, and positivity is what it’s about for me.
