You are past the acute withdrawal phase at 7 weeks sober so I think if you're not satisfied with your doctor a second opinion might be a good idea? Nobody here can give medical advice.
Congratulations on your sober time! The liver is an amazing organ, that's for sure...will you have repeat testing down the track once you're sober a bit longer?
