I've been feeling pretty low this month, mostly because I've been failing to stay sober for more than a week at a time since stringing together 50 days back in January...But today I did the math and I realize I've definitely been sober more days than not in 2018 so far. 50-60% sober isn't anything great but, well, 2017 wouldn't have been anywhere close. So, it is something to be proud of, even if I'm still struggling.
Thought I would share my positive thought in case thinking about sober time this way helps anyone else
I really have to fight black and white thinking, and I know many alcoholics are the same.
