My husband and I talk about this a lot. And it made my heart SO happy on NYD, about 6 am, when my step-daughter texted me first (knowing I'd be up as usual) to see if one of us could get her from her friend's house. Nothing was wrong, she just wanted to come home- and nothing was "wrong" with us, so it was all good!
