Hi Jimmy - not sure if you're trying to taper or moderate or both?
I tried everything I could to keep alcohol in my life
cutting back
drinking water between glasses
not starting til evening
not starting til lunch
not starting til I'd done my chores
switching to an alcohol I didn't like
None of them worked for any real amount of time.
I'm glad you've had some alcohol free days - but the tendency for drinkers like us is to stop there - 'thats an improvement' -
don't do that - I'm sorry, but it won't be an 'improvement' for long.
