Too funny, Mac4711! I wanted to share that yesterday but then I was like, "oh, they won't care." lol! Well, my nose still hurts, but the bruising is now light yellowish and the swelling is wayyyy down. On Monday later in the day I was lucky to be able to walk-in to a private Dr. office down the street and saw a NP there. He sent me to get an X-Ray of my nose at one of those big X-Ray/MRI places that same day. Anyway, he called me with the results on Thursday. I have a "non-displaced fracture of distal nasal bone," and he wants me to follow up with a specialist. So, I'm just trying to be gentle and not touch it too much so it definitely heals. I'm on day 6 of being sober today (yippee!) and really trying to be mindful of my thoughts/see my triggers when they pop up and really deal with them. I still want to go to a meeting, and plan to do that soon. Very soon. So thank you for following up and giving me a good laugh on this Saturday!
