Day 10
I'm now on day ten and can honestly say I have never felt better .... I couldn't do without this site I log in every few hours and take time out to read your stories it's amazing how we are all the same in regards to alcohol ...you lot inspire me so much ....I quit the day after boxing day ...after falling down the stairs an cracking a rib ...but my wake up call came two days previous when after consuming two bottles of wine I drove my car to collect my son ..it was the grace of God I didn't kill someone or myself or meet the law ... I knew it was time to say goodbye to the wine witch ..I have a nine year old daughter an I didn't want to be drunk mummy anymore it's a wake up call ...I can think properly for the first time in a long time ...I fuel myself with sparkling water an sliced of lemon an lime..no big hits 🤣 but it works for me ...I wish you all the very best of luck on your journey ...as someone quoted ..... ALCOHOL gives you wings .. but it takes away the sky 😫😫😫
