It's 3:30 PM here, Happy New Year to MidnightBlue and whoever else...
I went to the big hill climb beach and it was sunny and beautiful and the mountains were out. Olympic Mountains, as viewed from the Seattle area. And the Cascades, and two volcanoes. All snow-capped and lit up by the low-hanging winter sun.
I'm in for the night with snacks of Chex mix, trail mix, raisins and seltzer water (for after dinner....) Dinner will be light so I can have snacks. See what I did there? Gotta have some vegetables today, though.
I'll be in bed by 9 but I'm sure it won't last as fireworks are alive and well in this area. I don't have TV so the ball dropping isn't a draw for me. Maybe some "Once Upon A Time," or NCIS, or something.
