The huge gulf between "no big deal" drinking and "Big Deal" drinking seems to allow for a lot more "no big deal" drinking if you talk yourself into it. I hope you don't.
I also hope you have a sober New Year. I've had seven and they have been worth all the short-term discomfort of giving up drinking for good. Here's to 2018!
