This is how I have lived my life since I got sober.
I looked into my heart and really asked myself....and then I proceeded to go out and get it.
The thing is, I was this kind of kid....go-getter, smart, proactive, but I lost it all in my drinking.
Well, I thought I had lost it all, but underneath the mess and the fear was a tough determined passionate yes-I-can person. I realised I could, I can, and I did.
Not meaning any of this vaguely egotistically ~ just wanted to share if that's OK.
