I stopped drinking at family events in the eighties. They continued to offer me alcohol every single time I was there, even though I told them I was an alcoholic. Repeatedly. *sigh*
If you are going to an event today, you don't drink alcohol, don't forget! No matter how annoying Mom is or how judgey grandpa gets, it's not a reason. Oh, wait. Maybe that's just my family.
I miss them...all my family is gone...I'm not a big fan of holidays, so I'll move over and watch you guys have your fun.
