Hi and welcome to you. Great job on five days, that is a massive accomplishment!
Everything you described does sound normal. I have found that exercise really helps with the mental stuff. If you can get out for a run or a fast paced walk, get to the gym, a bike ride, swimming, anything to work up a good sweat and push yourself physically. I found that after a good workout I felt very sharp mentally and in focus. It did seem to fade after time, the clear-headedness was more in the hours following the workout. However, I do think that my continued fitness led to a softer and quicker recovery period. Eating well and drinking a lot of healthy liquids helps as well.
Whatever you do, don't drink, you will find yourself right back to square one, if not even worse. Trust me on this one.
