I’m feeling pretty accomplished today! I spent probably six hours cleaning and organizing my garage. Finally installed some hooks, shelves, etc so hopefully it’ll stay looking nice!
I had to stop in the middle to go to my daughter’s soccer game and I planned to run through a drive-thru to grab a chicken sandwich. When I got there, the line was practically to the street and there was no way I would have gotten through in time. In the past, I would have gone to the game starving and resentful. But today, I decided to detour to Starbucks and grab a green tea and a bento box. It was perfect!
My daughter is back from her dad’s and she’s got a friend spending the night. They have already planned out the morning: bagels, the park, and then the late church service. After that, I want to come home and take care of some housework. It’s nice to have a relaxing but productive plan.
