So here it is the big day!
I recall hardly sleeping at all the night before my wedding. It was very traditional/formal. Typical for the time and our region back then.
A personal highlight of the last few days was hiking to the summit of Wheeler Peak. (triumphant selfie below
)The altitude was a bit challenging for this low lander. A trek down to the bottom of Rio Grande Gorge was good too. Saw a huge snakeskin but thankfully did not see the donor.
An unexpected treat here is the magnificent night sky. Absolutely spectacular.
