Gilmer - I can get caught in my head too. I'm glad you just kept moving!
My husband is hungover this morning and he reeks. The whole room reeks. The last several weekends he's seemed dazed the entire next day after his drinking. While he would deny it - and probably doesn't recognize it because he putters about and gets stuff done - I see it and ..... it's gross.
But alas it's not my problem. It's his. Nothing I can do about it. All I can control is my behavior, and there's plenty I need to address to stay on MY beam. Thanks for being a place I can unload.
I'm about to head out to the grocery store.
