Following my last drink ( this time) I have also said in a post somewhere my anxiety is "through the roof) well I,m 6 weeks sober and much better ,some days better / worse than others .
I was referred to an online course of CBT ( beating the blues) of which I am about to do session 4 .
If you can try to understand that our central nervous system takes a hammering when drinking and takes time to heal .

Really? An online CBT course. Gotta check that out. I got involved in a CBT class a long time ago. It was great and made a big difference. John
