how long have you been sober ?i know the longer you are without alcohol maybe your anxiety gets down. i am scare of taking meds i know myself i would probably abused them but you need to do whats best for you.

22 months sober now, in my early days of recovery my doctor did prescribe diazepam to help with withdrawal x I took them then, but that was for withdrawal and not anxiety. Always do chat with your doctor though, in such early days I would say your doctor knows best x x x
