Great post charliesworld! I too have been turning to food for pleasure (well sugar disguised as food tbh) in exactly the same pattern as drinking. Instead of wine as my evening pleasure it's now cake etc. No change to the addictive behaviour whatsoever. The action of filling myself with "reward" or "treats" is absolutely ingrained. Still so much work to be done I guess. I'll check out that YouTube channel you mentioned. Thanks again!
