I began my journey at the age of 30,
married and 2 beautiful little babies,
a boy and girl, haven completed a 28
instay rehab and 6 week aftercare and
beginning my new journey in life and
recovery.

I just celebrated 27 yrs of continuous
sobriety on Aug. 11th and no, I'm not
cured of this illness, but I did put it to
rest on that day back in 1990. This addiction
will remain dormant as long as don't
drink, continue to incorporate what
was taught to me in AA in all my affairs
to continue achieving health, happiness
and honesty and many more awesome
rewards in life and recovery.

You've got your whole life ahead
of you and by the choice you made
in becoming a nurse, a nurse living
her life with a recovery foundation
to live upon, you are blessed and
will continue to be so with so many
you will be helping down the road.

Stay strong and sober each day
moving forward.
