We can be confronted with scary feelings we’ve been avoiding.
Ohhhh.... yeah.... That would be me.

When we get comfortable with emotional connections – when we learn when and how to make them happen – it is most certainly worth the risk:

Emotional Connections heal us.

They make us feel safe. They make us feel like we have purpose. They make us feel like we can handle anything.
I've been holding onto this today, knowing I'm headed in a good direction. My body feels on fire, much like when I gave up perfectionism. Taking healing to another step, determined to re-write the emotional vibration of C-PTSD with healthy emotions.

Small ventures out with suggested phrases to connect with how others feel without needing to agree or make light of things.

Drove many miles with our son to go to a ball-game tonight with my husband. I'd like to have more time, but I really need extra time for work tomorrow and am driving back tonight. We're all sad about the short length of the trip, but thankfully I can let that be tonight and still enjoy ice cream together, dinner and the game.

Major differences going on inside me.
