Time2Rise, thanks for your thoughts.. Interesting that the age when the problem got out of hand was about the same age for both of us. Makes sense that age (and maybe even menopause for women) could be part of the whole puzzle. I'm sure it must be helping with your Type 2 to not have alcohol complicating things.
