Back from a 35 minute walk in the most humid evening I can imagine. Before I walked out the door there is nothing I wanted more than a beer or 10. Now, I am more grateful than I can express that I did not have to do that.
SR, and collections of former drunks in general, are a generous and patient and convincing folk. I am SO grateful.
I'm showered and in bed now. I have family and community plans tomorrow. This has been a touch and go time last few days, but I am HERE. No place better to be.
