Keep fighting, Chilledice! I know you've been working on sobriety for years and that there are lots of things going on in your life. Although it's not always easy to see it when you're going through it, sobriety will help even when it doesn't seem like it. There's not a single problem you have that will improve by drinking. I realize you know this but it's easy to forget it.

I can appreciate your fear of being labeled or stigmatized but please don't let it keep you from getting the right kind of help. Just as it sometimes takes time to find the right approach to sobriety, it can take time to find the right doctor or therapist and the right approach to mental health. PTSD is serious but also very common, one of the most underdiagnosed and underappreciated problems in the world. There's no shame in admitting you're struggling, Chilledice.
