Good morning, I am checking in late, but IN just the same!
Posts above spoke to me, about recreating the perfect drinking experience, trying again and again to "get there". I used to be able to get just the right buzz, became dismayed as that buzz grew shorter and shorter. And then I could never arrive at the right buzz at all. Just blew on through to dangerously drunk, having no relief or pleasure on the way. It just IS NOT worth the risk anymore. That is kind of a nice place to be emotionally. Fully convinced.....that is a gift.
