I went to the salon and got my hair dyed again, because you know red heads have more fun. Now my mother will spend the whole weekend telling me how awful it is and how much she hates it. I have finally reached a rebellious stage at the grand old age of 36.
Hmmm I got the strangest phone call at work today. I have booked a patient in for a tonsillectomy and she wanted to ask some questions. I said "fine". She asked how long is the recovery time as she was told by someone that she would have to rest for a long time and she wouldn't even be able to change her child's nappy (diaper)! I was tempted to say they will be taking out your tonsils not amputating your arms but I just said recovery time is about 10 days and you just have to be careful of a post tonsillectomy bleed.
I can't wait for the weekend.
