While we didn't know the parents on a personal level, they lived very close by and were prominent members of the professional community: we knew them indirectly and tangentially on a professional level.

The circumstances are gruesome and one can only speculate at this point as to the whys of this true tragedy.

Please keep their sons and family in your prayers.
