I'm glad you are there for your daughter, and that you and her dad are both supporting her. Perhaps she needs a counselor to talk to as well, to help her deal with how she is feeling.
As for the doctor, as scary as it is to go you will feel relief after. Hopefully they will tell you that you do not have anything seriuous going on health wise, and that will allow you to have peace of mind. Also, if there is something that needs to be addressed you can do that after your doctor visit.
