Anorexia and Alcohol... (Addiction)
Firstly, I am so thankful for this website.
I have been sober from alcohol for many weeks.
I have been going to the gym everyday, which helps with my anxiety.
It would appear that once giving up alcohol I have now gone back in to my primary addiction (I used alcohol to allow me to eat), Anorexia.
I have contacted my previous counsellor who stated as my Father paid £250 per session, private, she cannot see me on NHS - there is an 24 month waiting list...
I'm wondering if anyone else has suffered from Anorexia and used alcohol - what did you do?
I feel like I cannot eat unless suitably sedated...
I do not want to drink, and I haven't.
But the result is that if I'm not 'lucid' I cannot eat.
