I am stronger than I have ever been, and there isn't enough time to do everything I want to do
I cannot believe what a little over a year has accomplished. I will never forget those nights and weekends when I was so bored not drinking.
Fast-forward and my life is full. I no longer think of suicide. My heart does not race at 2:30 a.m. I take care of myself. I am more present. Life is great. For those of you just starting out, stick with it. Just don't take that first drink.
You can do it, I was a life-long drinker for many many years. I do not miss it. Not even for St. Pat's.
