On This Day 2 Years Ago
I did what I did most Saturdays. My wife went to work and I was mixing a drink by 10:00am.
I killed most of a 5th + beer by that night and also found out a friends wife commited suicide due do alcoholism. No one but close family had any idea. This affected me. I found out around noon and was drunk by then.
I was on the verge of admitting to myself I had lost control. Started reading here shortly after and starting posting by April.
Its so nice to be in control today. Looking back it was sad scary times. Day 213.
