You know, Lexie, this is something I've begun to think about myself. Like you, I live alone w/no neighbors on one side and a retired couple who are gone a LOT on the other. If it was a work day and I didn't show, people would wonder where I was, but how long would it take before someone actually came to
look for me? Days, I'm sure...and I don't tend to keep my phone w/me when I'm at home, usually plugged into the charger.
Learning to admit it when we need help is a good practice to get into, regardless of how old we are, I think.
