Maya, it sounds like you have made great progress and made a lot of big decisions! your vacation sounds amazing.
i read once a suggestion that we should deliberately get IN to and OUT of at least three short term relationships. meaning not go drag the first one we can catch home AND not be hunting for THE ONE. but practice meeting new people, getting to know them, NOT getting emotional entangled and then going separate ways.
i said i read about it, never said i did it!!! but if i ever find myself single again, i might try it on the bingo circuit or AARP nite at the bowling alley!!! LOL
