You can't help him or change him. Period. It sounds harsh, but it's the truth. He's well on his way to becoming a text book alcoholic. Eventually his life will become unmanageable and the people closest to him will be sucked into a vortex of insanity and dysfunction because of his alcoholism Sound like fun to you? I hope not.
