Embrace sobriety,
It's a gift.
It's life.
It's nothing to fear. Sobriety is nothing to fear. Give it time. For myself it took about 9 months when I finally realized that sobriety was going to stay with me. I hit bottom from day one. But I still had to deal with life on life's terms. I think there is a line you cross after a certain length of sobriety that we all must cross in order to fully understand that alcoholism can be dealt with and beat. But you must give it time.
I read the struggles newcomers have here. All I can say is, embrace sobriety and give it a chance. One mourning you will wake up and ask yourself, why was I ever afraid of this?
