Oh man! The time has come... Thanksgiving. Because my car is still in the shop, I had to catch a ride with my best friend. I hate being without a car. The entire ride down here, I thought, what am I going to tell my family? I'm without a car and the stress I'm holding is enough to crush an elephant. I contemplated stopping by the liquor store. It just seemed like the easier thing to do. I didn't. I hope I don't regret being stuck here without "a little help". Ugh! I'll be here 4 days. I hope that I can stick it out. Tell them that your car is in the shop ;-) It's not a lie and you really don't need to tell them anyting more than that. SR is here 24/7 365 days a year so if you have a smartphone we're right in your pocket the whole time. Don't "hope" you can stick it out or rely on luck to help you through the weekend - enjoy your family and all the food and other good things that come along with the holiday. And check in here whenever you need to.
