Lesson went well ~ to answer your question Phoenix ~ I guess I'd been air drumming to music my whole life without realizing it, and people have always encouraged me to take lessons. What sealed the deal was when I was introduced to Shannon Larkin from Godsmack....he is literally the human version of Animal from the Muppets ~ SO fun to watch! At first glance I said "Who is
THAT and where has he been all my life???" ~ That was about 10 years ago....took forever to put the drink down long enough to do something about it...
And speaking of which ~ The guys at the music store just told me tonight that they're putting together a "recital" for students if we're interested in playing. I would have to, like, learn a song and play it ~ in front of people at the store! And it's only a month away....
