Collect the autumnal fallen leaves from the ground. Bag them, hoping they'll turn into compost for next year.
When drinking, I'd leave the leaves on the ground, destroying the grass beneath due to loss of light. Eventually the earthworms would drag them underground, as the surface turned muddy.
