Oh, wow, that concept explains quite a lot of when went on in my family-of-origin, in some past relationships, and possibly what goes on with the ladies at work, and even at times in my marriage. Yikes.
Well, I am certainly glad to find someone has wrapped it up into a neat package and there's a term for it. That helps. I will file this away somewhere in the brain. At least I know what to call it now, no more struggling to describe it. It was maddening.
