I was thinking this lunch time about what i said this morning and when you say ;
" At dinner one of the guys kept asking me to order a cocktail, he said.... girl, I know you want your vodka.... he did this in front of everyone. I was so embarrassed. I just smiled and said desert has to be served with coffee! "
This is the point where we have to accept that our relationship with alcohol is not like everyones and maybe your colleague meant absolutely nothing bad and it was completely harmless... and shouldnt be held against him tomorrrow. I used to dread the people who love egging you on to have a drink.. That was when I realised there was a difference in saying to people "I dont want to" and "I cant" !
Maybe Im just complicated and I think too much
Any ways all that and in the end on work trips now I avoid the restaurants with the colleagues and stay in my hotel. But I feel like I have won an olympic gold a few days later !
